Compared to conventional coronary angiography, Decypher® provides clear information about coronary artery stenosis that cannot be determined by angiography alone.

It also identifies the location, nature, progression, and regression of atherosclerotic lesions. During interventional procedures, Decypher" assists in determining treatment endpoints, stent placement, and the effectiveness of balloon expansion. It provides valuable guidance for predicting restenosis following stent implantation. The Decypher IVUS diagnostic system sets a new market benchmark with a retraction speed of up to 40 mm/s, while other commercial IVUS systems have a maximum retraction speed of only 10 mm/s. This enables it to scan (image capture) a 100-millimeter-long vessel in as little as 3 seconds while providing clear images with a resolution of up to 20 micrometers.
